The historical background and the playbook used by Russia to invade Ukraine in 2022 is, almost to the letter, the same as the playbook used by Turkey to invade Cyprus in 1974.
So, if you oppose Russia’s invasion of Ukraine you should also oppose Turkey’s invasion (and continual occupation) of Cyprus.
If you buy Turkey’s argument for invading Cyprus, you must buy Russia’s argument for invading Ukraine.
